PMA
, sometimes sold as ecstasy, is a highly dangerous hallucinogenic stimulant
that has caused more than a dozen deaths in the past two years. Low doses
produce a high somewhat like ecstasy; however, at slightly higher doses,
PMA can suddenly increase heart rate, blood pressure and body temperature
that can lead to convulsions and coma. Higher doses bring on muscle spasms,
nausea, vomiting, breathing difficulties and death.
